ToddSkoglundTodd Skoglund, M. Ed., Principal / Co-Founder

Todd has been involved in emergency response operations and training since 1994. In addition to serving as a firefighter/EMT/Hazmat Technician, he spent eleven years at the AAR Transportation Technology Center's Emergency Response Training Center in Pueblo, Colorado. In 2006, Todd co-founded Signet North America with the simple mantra of Make it Right, Make it Relevant, Make it Unforgettable. Since it's inception, Signet North America's culture of excellence extending to every corner of it's operations has led to it becoming one of the most recognized and respected names in Hazardous Materials Emergency Response training.

 


Mike Becker, Programs Coordinator

Mike Becker is a nearly 30-year veteran of the fire service, bringing with him a vast background and frontline experience in Firefighting and Hazardous Materials response.  Mike has responded to hundreds of incidents of various scopes and types and shares these experiences in the classroom and training grounds.  As an instructor, Mike has been privileged to train and work with thousands of responders and facility personnel throughout North America.

 


Capt. Shane Baird, Lead Instructor

Captain Shane Baird has worked in emergency services since 1995 and has a wide range of experience including the fire service, wilderness search and rescue, and air ambulance industries. Shane’s relationship with Signet began as a returning student in many of Signet North America’s earliest classes in 2006 and 2007. Since joining the team in 2009, he has grown from a student of Signet to a one of our most popular and sought-after instructors.

 



Tony Arcuri, Instructional Host

Tony Arcuri has been in the fire service since 2000. Throughout his career, he has been involved in multiple specialties including Wildland, Dive Rescue, Technical Rescue and Hazardous Materials. Joining Signet in 2013 after having been a former student of many of our courses, Tony instructs fire/rescue-related topics to a wide range of students from elementary school students (who normally have adult supervision---the kids, not Tony) up to college-level courses (who normally have no adult supervision but probably should).

 



Chris Wetzel, Instructional Host

Chris Wetzel began his fire services career in 2008. He has an extensive HazMat response experience including fixed facilities, clandestine labs, explosives, over-the-road mishaps, bulk shipping containers, environmental contamination, widespread geographic emergencies, and many other incidents requiring sampling, identification, and mitigation.
