Hazmat has a reputation for big, dramatic incidents like industrial fires, train derailments, and overturned tankers. Those happen, of course, yet most hazmat incidents are far more common  — occurring at pools, hotels, restaurants, storage facilities, schools, homes, vehicles, and the like. They show up on calls that don’t look like hazmat calls. Until they do.
