The Incident Management System (IMS) is an internationally-recognized model for planning, controlling, and coordination of single and multi-agency crisis management and emergency responders. IMS has been proven effective for managing a variety of situations, both everyday events and critical incidents including: school crisis management, dangerous goods (HAZMAT) incidents, natural disasters, fire, event pre-planning, facility emergencies and many others.
ICS-300 provides training on and resources for personnel who require advanced application of the Incident Command System (ICS). The course expands upon information covered in the ICS-100 and ICS-200 courses. The ICS 400 course provides training on and resources for personnel who require advanced application of the Incident Command System (ICS). This course expands upon information covered in ICS-100 through ICS-300 courses. These earlier courses are prerequisites for ICS-400. The target audience for this course is senior personnel who are expected to perform in a management capacity in an Area Command or Multiagency Coordination Entity. The materials will be covered through a variety of media, including discussion, presentations, video, and interactive customized exercises and applications designed and developed specifically to individual customer requirements.
