This course provides foundational knowledge in hazard recognition, personal protective equipment (PPE), decontamination, emergency response, and regulatory compliance, reducing workplace risks and ensuring OSHA compliance for affected industries.
Signet North America’s Customized Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) course is designed for employees who may encounter hazardous substances in their workplace but who might or might not actually serve in an emergency response capacity. The course is designed to meet OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120(q) requirements and is customized to your specific industry, ensuring relevance and compliance for a wide range of
workplace environments.
Due to the hands-on nature of this program and the site-specific focus of the content, attendees will have opportunities throughout the course to utilize equipment they may already have. We believe it is critically important that personnel be able to utilize the equipment they actually use within their own agencies. To that end, we highly encourage attendees to utilize their own agency’s materials and equipment whenever possible to learn their own equipment’s particular strengths, limitations, and specific applications.
